James, Billy & Glen were absolutely amazing when they came to pack up our house. They took extra time on the fragile items, and yet were still efficient, professional, were careful with our items, and friendly. They are the best moving experience we’ve ever had.I would recommend these three any day.
James and Gavin were super nice and professional when delivering our HHG and unaccompanied baggage from overseas. They verified we had all of our boxes, took things to where I wanted them in the home. Some extra guys came later in the day to help them finish up the job and were also very friendly as well. Overall, we are very satisfied with our experience with Apaca :) thanks!
Movers were very nice and helpful. Took out my old boxes for me which was so sweet. There was a mess up with the paperwork but it was nothing that affected my stuff.
James helped us with our unaccompanied baggage pick-up. He was courteous, professional, and great company! Thank y’all for making the seemingly never ending process of moving overseas just a little bit easier!
Nice guys, very appreciative of their taking the time to verify our items were marked off as entering the home and delivering it to which room I requested. They unwrapped stuff without having to ask and were happy to unpack the boxes I requested. After a hellacious move, I really was appreciative.
Professional Delivery Team. Went out of their way to deliver our household goods in very difficult location. Team was quick and efficient. The best delivery out of 14 moves.
Apaca helped us with our PCS move and they couldn’t have been more efficient and helpful. Both Billy and Ruben were so quick, verified what items needed to be taken, and did a 10/10 job. They rock.
They guys Billy and Ruben did great! Super quick and personable folks who know the ins and outs of the job and help coach you for your next stop when PCSing. If I could I would go with Apaca Moving again!
Efficient and took good care of our things! James and Andrew were amazing, the other member of our crew put a lot of boxes in the wrong rooms and was not as gentle on the unpack. But overall great experience
They recently dropped off our smaller shipment and it went very smooth, both movers were concise and efficient! Showed up in a timely manner and took very good care of our goods! Thank you!
I was impressed with how many people they sent to pack us out. It went much faster and smother than I expected. All the packers were friendly. No issues with the packing. I will have a different shipper, so I can't speak to that.
The crew was amazing and energetic! Randy, Carlos, Octavio, Ernest, and Kaleb made this move a wonder experience and kept our house looking good with their attention to detail and care. I recommend this crew for any job and if you get them you will be blessed with great service.
I’ve done several moves around the world and I have to commend Alpaca Moving and Storage for their excellent work and professionalism. The crew size was actually reflective of the size of my shipment (other moves in the past sent minimal crew) and they were very respectful of the property. They had a system in place that made things move quickly and efficiently. The items that were disassembled at the point of origin were reassembled and reassembled well. If I have to move ever again they will be my first call.
We just wrapped up our best military move in 26 years and APACA was one of the heroes of the effort. Our 15,000lbs of household goods were packed up in Oklahoma City expecting a direct delivery move into a base home but our home was switched while we were on the road and APACA came through as the temporary storage for the five weeks we had to wait until we could move in.We move every two to three years in the military so we know the benefit of a direct delivery move that avoids several more sets of hands associated with loading and unloading to storage and finally on to your home. We were nervous having to add a storage stop to the move but APACA was fantastic from the start helping me collect motorcycles from the shipment that we’d... need for transportation during the unexpected five week wait for a home. They kept in touch over the weeks verifying schedules and on delivery day they arrived as scheduled despite how unpredictable the Air Force gate security process can be. The entire team was professional and careful with our household goods and the home. For the first time in 26 years we had zero broken dishes, glass, or picture frames. Plenty of furniture padding was used resulting in only one noticeable chip on a large heavy dresser which is truly fantastic. We’re realistic and experienced regarding what typically happens on moves with awkward heavy furniture and we were pleasantly surprised at how carefully everything was handled. Our bicycles suffered some scuffs, a few things needed some wiping down to return them to pre-move condition, and a couple extremely fragile aircraft and boat models will need some minor straightforward repairs, but nothing unexpected or unreasonable. Everything that was important to us made it in fantastic shape.Moving is hard and filled with opportunities to break valuable and important things but APACA impressed me so much that when it came time to set up ‘non-temporary storage’ for the furniture that wouldn’t fit in the base home we prioritized them #1 on our wish list to come back. I can wholeheartedly recommend the APACA teams, planning representatives, and leadership that we worked with on this move (Aug 2023) and I will put them #1 on our list when it’s time to leave Albuquerque. Thanks APACA!Chris & Tammyread more
APACA helped move our household when we moved from Albuquerque to Melbourne Australia. The 3 men that arrived on site- Randy Otero and his team (I believe his father and a cousin too) were a DELIGHT! They were so professional, so careful and cautious with our belongings. They packed everything with such detail and care and were very pleasant to talk to. We had a great moving experience! And we are so happy to report that everything arrived in Australia without a scratch or dent, and I am talking big pieces of furniture. Thank you Randy Otero and team!
APACA was assigned to deliver my household goods from storage during my PCS. The crew was on time, professional, and friendly. They were very careful when unloading and placing my goods and worked with me to check off every box that came into the house. No items were broken and the delivery was fast and smooth. Would recommend!
They were used for my household shipment and we had a great experience with the movers. They were quick and friendly to us. Followed instructions to where we wanted our items places and did not leave any junk behind.
Mr. Dennis was very professional with his crew and the newbies he was training. They had 7k# off in 2hrs with zero incident. Would gladly work with this agency in future. Thank you Ms. Jennifer for all your help on this job.
We recently had 3 shipments delivered to our house. Everyone was so polite and made sure to ask where we wants things and what things we wanted hooked up. I was especially impressed with Johnathon, he came all three times and was so professional and kind. You immediately feel like he’s a trust worthy friend. We hope when we eventually have to move we have just as great as an experience. Thank you!
Cathy provided very clear and timely information regarding my move, Flint and his crew were professional and treated my belongings with care and respect. Couldn’t have asked for a better crew! They made my move easy and stress free. If you’re doing a military move, request them as a preferred company.
So my employer gave me three moving companies they would pay for as part of relocation. I looked up all three, Apaca had the lowest google review so I ignored them. I tried one company - they would say I'll call you right back and I wouldn't hear from them in a week. The second couldn't remember any details of my move from one conversation to the next. Finally, we decided to call Apaca since we were getting nowhere and nothing scheduled with the other companies. Glad we did. Apaca did a fantastic job. At the point in the process we called them, we needed to move fast. They were able to get us scheduled, move an entire house with a hot tub and sauna and a piano heavier then the hot tub. They were professional, extremely courteous. ... They made a very stressful move go very easily. The movers were absolutely fantastic - very grateful to have had them move us. Not sure why there were bad reviews - this is a great company to work with.read more
The only complaint I have is that it took them a few days to get my stuff to my apartment after they received my crates from the trucking company. Otherwise they were great. The crew was very quick and efficient at unloading my stuff and organizing it in my house. They worked late that day to make sure everything was satisfactory. The crew chief was also kind enough to point out to me multiple items that had been damaged by the company that loaded my stuff prior to being shipped. He said he didn't want to hide anything to cover for his or the partner company. I appreciated his honesty and have since made the appropriate insurance claim.Based on my experience with the packing company I'll likely never use a moving company again, but... these guys were indeed the best part of the whole process.read more
This company did their best to get my belongings to me as quickly as possible, despite hang ups with other parties. On moving day, only two men showed up due to the busy season. They worked tirelessly to unload and unwrap my belongings. The communication was great, and they took great care to ensure my satisfaction.
Decommissioning is the process of safely closing down a facility, office, or industrial site when it is no longer needed. This involves several key steps, starting with assessing the space to determine what needs to be removed, recycled, or disposed of. The process typically includes removing equipment, furniture, and other infrastructure and properly handling any hazardous materials. After the initial assessment, you’ll receive a detailed quote that outlines the services needed and the costs involved. Once everything is agreed upon, the decommissioning team will carry out the work, ensuring the space is left clean, safe, and ready for its next use. This process helps businesses manage their assets efficiently, reduce waste, and ensure a smooth transition out of the space.
We manage the sale and recovery of your unneeded assets, helping you maximize the value of your equipment and materials.

This Forbes article notes, “Before selecting the least expensive, ensure you’re getting the services you want with a reputable company. Often, the one in the middle ends up being the chosen one.” Typically, a detailed quote from a decommissioning company will outline the costs associated with each service, ensuring transparency and helping businesses budget effectively for the project.

Smaller projects like office furniture de-installation can often be completed in a few days, while larger, more complex tasks such as data center demolition or complete site closure may take several weeks or longer. These measures include proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials, using personal protective equipment (PPE), and following industry regulations and standards for safe demolition and equipment removal.
